Overwhelmed with joy, says family of Indian-American astronaut Sirisha Bandla flying to space with Branson
Days after Virgin reported that India-conceived Sirisha Bandla would join Richard Branson on his lady space flight, her granddad said that he was "overpowered with euphoria". Sirisha, who is VP of government issues and exploration tasks for Virgin Galactic, is among the five space travelers going with the extremely rich person on his first flight.
Sirisha, 33, who was brought into the world in the Guntur locale of Andhra Pradesh, will fly installed Virgin Galactic's July 11 dry run that will take her past the edge of the Earth's environment. Branson's central goal will be the 22nd flight test for VSS Unity, and the organization's fourth run spaceflight.
Addressing Reuters, her granddad Dr Ragaiah, a resigned researcher, who passes by one name said, "All along, she was particularly captivated towards the sky, taking a gander at the sky, space, how to enter space and what is there."
"I'm exceptionally glad and overpowered with bliss. My subsequent granddaughter, she will space," he added.
